If you’re searching for a paediatric physiotherapist on the Gold Coast, chances are you’re not just looking for therapy. You’re looking for reassurance, answers, guidance, and someone who genuinely understands children, development, and family life.
At Little Ones Physiotherapy, that’s exactly what we aim to provide.
Founded by Ali Day, Little Ones Physiotherapy is a mobile paediatric physiotherapy service supporting babies, toddlers, children, and families across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
As both a paediatric physiotherapist and mum of two, I understand how overwhelming parenting advice can feel. Between milestone comparison, Google searches at 2am, and social media pressure, many parents are left wondering:
“Is my baby behind?”
“Should my baby be crawling yet?”
“Why does my baby hate tummy time?”
“Is W sitting bad?”
“Should I worry my child isn’t walking?”
These are some of the most common concerns parents search online when looking for a baby physio or paediatric physiotherapist on the Gold Coast.
Little Ones Physiotherapy was created to make support feel realistic, achievable, and family-centred, without overwhelming parents with complicated medical jargon. Enquire about a booking here.
Meet Ali Day | Paediatric Physiotherapist Gold Coast
I’m Ali Day, a paediatric physiotherapist with almost 10 years of experience working with babies and children across the Gold Coast.
I am passionate about helping children build confidence in movement while supporting parents to feel informed, empowered, and reassured through every stage of development.
I also created The Baby Playbook, a practical guide helping parents confidently support their baby’s development through purposeful play and realistic everyday strategies.
At Little Ones Physiotherapy, my approach is always:
Play-based
Evidence-based
Child-led
Family-centred
Realistic for everyday life
Because development should never feel overwhelming. Find all my resources here (including free downloadable milestone guides, because everyone should have access to evidence-based education about their little ones).

A Play-Based and Evidence-Based Approach
At Little Ones Physiotherapy, therapy never looks like drills or forcing children to perform tasks.
Instead, sessions are built around:
Purposeful play
Motor learning
Strength and coordination
Balance and postural control
Crossing midline
Bilateral coordination
Sensory-motor development
Core stability
Confidence through movement
Children learn best through connection, engagement, repetition, curiosity, and play.
Whether we’re helping a baby tolerate tummy time, supporting a toddler learning to jump, or helping a child improve coordination and strength, therapy is always tailored to your child’s goals and developmental stage.
Early Intervention and Development Support
Early intervention does not always mean something is wrong.
Sometimes parents simply want reassurance.
Sometimes they want practical ideas.
Sometimes they want support understanding milestones and development.
And sometimes children benefit from a little extra guidance to build strength, coordination, confidence, and movement skills.
Research consistently shows that early support can positively impact long-term developmental outcomes, especially during the early years when children’s brains and bodies are rapidly developing.
At Little Ones Physiotherapy, I aim to make early intervention feel supportive, realistic, and empowering for families.
The Baby Playbook | Supporting Development Through Play
The Baby Playbook was created for parents wanting realistic, easy-to-follow play ideas that support baby development without adding pressure.
Inside you’ll find:
Tummy time ideas
Rolling activities
Sitting support
Crawling play
Fine motor activities
Gross motor development ideas
Milestone guidance
Purposeful play setups
Development education written in simple language
It’s designed to help parents feel confident and informed while supporting development through everyday play opportunities.
