Home Visits
Does your little one feel more comfortable in their own space? Or does getting out of the house and to another appointment seem too daunting? Our Physiotherapists can bring equipment to your home to complete a full assessment and provide the appropriate therapy.
We can use your space and toys or equipment to design a session specifically for your child to help address their therapy goals. Many families find these sessions are easier to reproduce and complete in between assessments.
We are also excited to offer sessions at a park or playground near your house, and utilise these spaces to assess and treat your child’s condition. Wherever you and your little one feel most comfortable, we can set up a Physiotherapy session.
Initial sessions are 60 minutes to allow a thorough discussion and investigation about your child’s needs and their therapy goals and plans. Follow up sessions are 45 to 60 minutes.
These sessions can be claimed under the NDIS or are eligible for private health rebates.

Daycare or School Visits
Sometimes life can feel overwhelmingly busy. A new diagnosis or query with your child’s wellbeing can add to the overwhelm.
If your child requires a Physiotherapy assessment or therapy session, we can come to their daycare or school to carry out treatment. Minimise the before or after school rush by having our Physiotherapists see your child during their day.
Initial sessions are 60 minutes to allow our therapist to get to know the site and have a thorough discussion about your child’s needs and goals, followed by an in-depth assessment. Follow-up sessions are generally 45 to 60 minutes and can be carried out as small groups if this is fitting for children at your daycare or school.
These sessions can be claimed under the NDIS or are eligible for private health rebates.
If you have any questions about daycare or school visits please get in touch.

Hydrotherapy
Physiotherapy can feel really tough for some of our little ones. Water play can make it more enjoyable. Our Physiotherapists are trained in neurodevelopmental hydrotherapy and will utilise the many benefits of water to carry out an innovative, fun and enjoyable therapy session for your child. This can be done at home in your own pool or at a local hydrotherapy pool.
We find these sessions are particularly beneficial for children who mobilise in wheelchairs, have hypertonia or high sensory needs as the water can help relax them into different postures and use their muscles in different ways.
Hydrotherapy is also extremely beneficial for post-operative rehabilitation or those recovering from sporting injuries. We generally allow 60 minutes for hydrotherapy sessions, including time to set up and prep, getting used to the water, completing therapy exercises and safely exiting the water.
These sessions can be claimed under the NDIS or are eligible for private health rebates.

Small Group Classes
Coming soon to Little Ones Physiotherapy, these small group classes are going to link-in children of similar abilities and goals and use fun game-based and obstacle style play to help them achieve their best physical outcome.
These small group classes will be best for children with high sensory needs, low-tone, delayed developmental milestones or struggling to engage in social and sporting groups.
