Ali Day
Senior Physiotherapist and Director
Meet our owner and Senior Physiotherapist
Ali Day is a paediatric physiotherapist with almost 10 years of experience supporting babies and children across the Gold Coast. As the founder of Little Ones Physiotherapy and creator of The Baby Playbook, Ali specialises in purposeful play, helping parents confidently support development, milestones, and movement through simple, evidence-based strategies.
Known for her warm, practical, and down-to-earth approach, Ali is passionate about helping babies and children thrive through evidence-based therapy that feels achievable within everyday family life. She works closely with families to provide personalised support, empowering parents with clear guidance, realistic strategies, and play-based therapy tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Ali has a special interest in infant development, tongue ties and associated body tightness, plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), torticollis (tight neck), cerebral palsy and sporting injuries in children. She works collaboratively with a GP on the Gold Coast to support babies before and after tongue tie release procedures, helping improve body tension, neck mobility, positioning, and overall comfort through gentle physiotherapy intervention.
Her therapy sessions are engaging, creative, and tailored to each stage of childhood, evolving alongside a child’s development and goals. From early infant positioning, tummy time, and gross motor milestones, to hydrotherapy, strength and coordination training, sporting rehabilitation, and functional movement skills for older children, Ali focuses on building confidence, independence, and participation through meaningful, evidence-based therapy.
As a mum of two herself, Ali understands the realities and overwhelm that can come with parenting. This lived experience shapes her compassionate and supportive approach, helping families feel heard, reassured, and confident in supporting their child’s development. Outside of work, Ali loves staying active, spending time at the beach and Tallebudgera Creek, and exploring local markets with her family.
